How to Make a Dynamite Press PacketYour press packet is one of your most important promotional tools. It will have a significant impact, positive or negative, on the media, booksellers and others that receive it . You should take some time and really develop an effective press packet. Your press packet should include the follow: photograph (4x6 is the cheapest and is okay but 5x7 is better) biography copy of bookcover with book synopsis on the back newspaper articles reviews reader comments bookseller comments calendar of events It is important that each of the items included be of high quality. Try to use color if possible and make sure the text is clear. Don't send xerox copies that can't be read. Retype reviews and newspaper articles and print them on good paper so they can be easily read and look impressive.
