REPORT OF SOUTHEAST
MICHIGAN GHOST HUNTERS SOCIETY
ON THE MAGNETIC
MANSION
September 15th, 2007
Dear Forrest,
Thank you for allowing us to investigate the Mansion. It was something that we
don’t get to do often.
To be honest with you, we didn’t get a lot of activity. This doesn’t mean the
mansion isn’t haunted, it just means that for the time that we were there, the
activity was quiet. We did get a short spurt of
activity in the hall upstairs, and right before we were leaving, in the living
room.
We did get the spirit of an older man, and of a little boy. The man was
concentrated mainly upstairs. The little boy was all through the house. More on
the old man can be found at the end of this letter, when the members tell you
what they felt or found.
We looked in vain for the hidden door in the basement and for the room
beneath the fireplace. After spending considering amount of time in this
endeavor, we couldn’t find either. Over the years it is possible that the past
owners might have made alterations to the house and those two things were made
not to exist.
Sincerely,
Brad Mikulka

Bryan’s comments
The paranormal experience I had was pretty extreme. You and Brenda were right
when you said there was a man in the hallway. When I was sitting in the doorway
of the bedroom I felt like it was influencing me but not fully. I kept getting
feelings of despair and that the spirit was a late middle aged man with short
receded hair that was grey on the sides. He was in much despair and felt
condemned or "damned" for some reason. The only name that came to me was either
"George", "Giorgio" or "Giovanni". The disturbing part was when I tried to leave
to go downstairs to lock my car doors. As soon as I was walking to the stairs it
felt like a blanket of ice was thrown over my back. It was so intense. I was
freezing. It was nice to get some validation from Holly, and whomever else was
there when they could feel the cold around me. It felt like the entity didn't
want me to leave and holding on in desperation. It also felt like it was still
on me as we went downstairs and outside. It only subsided after I got further
away from the house. Later I believe this entity may have been the one to set
off an upstairs motion sensor when I know no one was near the room.
Dennis’s comments
Upon arrival, I did not sense any activity in the home. I was surprised to find
the condition of the home, which seemed to be abandoned for some time. The
stickers on the doors, sinks, etc stating this was an abandoned residence, and
was secured and winterized by the construction company were interesting for a
home that was listed for sale by a different owner.
I was briefed by Brad on some info from the original owner (the one requesting
the investigation), on location of “secret rooms”, etc. After an exhaustive
investigation, we were unable to locate, and in-fact disproved most of these.
There is no room under the fireplace, only an area where the support structure
for the chimney goes to the foundation. There is no evidence of any river under
the garage, though we did find a very deep pump house nearby, it was enclosed in
concrete block on all sides. We sounded the floor, but were unable to
confirm/disprove the existence of any secret passage/room there.

077 this pic was taken immediately after, as you
can see, it came pretty clear
076 this pic seemed to be blocked, it was taken as I felt
something in the hall… I also saw the flash “flash back” at me…
